While my educational and work experience will speaks for itself. I also enjoy pursuing the latest topics and obtain degrees as they continue to evolve with a keen interest in automation technology software and hardware.
Skiing! This is the winter sport I look forward every year. My first contact was 10 years ago and it was with some very old army style skis, with no boots. Even so I started to like it so much I didn't cared about the dangerous gear I was on. So in the last years I got a full equipment and went searching for new slopes and new challenges here in Romania and also in Europe.
Rafting! If you want a real adventure you can sure find it on the river. Rafting and white water rafting are recreational outdoor activities which use an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other body of water. This very challenging and also tiring sport. Dealing with risk and the need for teamwork is often a part of the experience I don't do it so often cause is hard to find a team but nonetheless I love it !

Senior Project Engineer
- Responsible for the technical correctness of the software and associated instrumentation together with technical documentation
- Coordinating a project team on the technical side in close cooperation with the lead engineer and/or the project manager.
- Determining the correct project execution approach and the configuration strategy to meet the customer requirements.
- Working together with the Engineering Team Leader / Engineering Manager to be able to match the complexity of a technical task with the experience of the engineer that this is assigned to.
- Following the correct working methods, procedures, tools, and identify areas of improvement where needed.
- Developing HMI, specific functions and configurations in DeltaV and use them to develop automation solutions for customers in industries like Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas.
- Conduct software Internal Testing, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests and Startups
- Relevant trainings for all this like 7009 DeltaV Implementation, Pass001 Engeneering level 1, 7425 DeltaV Live, PDL.
Lead Engineer
- Technical responsibility for Remote Automation Solutions (RTU & SCADA) project execution from order through to project completion, including site start-up and commissioning support. This includes technical management of the engineers assigned to the project.
Other Responsibilities like:
- Manage and co-ordinate the planning, definition and provision of system engineering project lifecycle deliverables namely; functional design specifications, system design specifications, test specifications, software coding, hardware design, assembly and unit testing, third party supply
Responsible for interfacing with the customer on technical issues
- Supervise engineering team including back office resources in the delivery of project deliverables to schedule and at the desired quality
Support project management functions with accurate and regular reporting of resource requirements
- Manage and provide for system defect resolutions
- Manage and provide technical support on and off site for Emerson and customer engineers
- Provide customer site support for start-up and commissioning
- Provide sales support both on and off site
- Support to Tendering team through development of system technical solutions within bid submission timescales
- Support DOA executive summaries and sales collateral in support of the tendered solution
I think this is one of my favorite projects.
Our client's goal was to have a semi-automatic assembly line for a wiper motor system that can make a high volume of parts/hour.
I had the opportunity to work with a good and involved team of programmers, electricians & design.
My part in this project was to program PLC's, various controllers and special functions. In the same time I had to overview my team of 3 colleagues that helped in this process.
We had different problems from electrical to mechanical design. But the most challenging was for me the end of line test, where the product was tested to be in specs. In the end we manage to finish the project in time with a good profit and made from our a client a good friend. Mean while we delivered more copies of the line at the same quality standard
